mCLASS Testing, Devices, and After School Tutoring

Thank you to all the parents who came out to support MES at the Field Day. If your child rides a bus, please know due to the number of students who checked out today, the routes should be ahead of schedule. Please make sure you are at the bus stop at 3pm today. Have a great weekend!

Reminder, school age students should not attend MES field day. Chick-fil-A, Pelicans, and Howells ice cream will be on site selling food. We will also have snacks, drinks, and water for sale. Students should wear tennis shoes and bring a towel or blanket to sit on. Parents, you may go straight to the ball field. You do not need to go to the office to check-in. If you want to take your child to a vendor without the teacher present, you will need to sign the child out from the teacher. Please bring an ID with you if you plan to check out a student in case we need to verify who is checking out the student. Parents, you may park in the front lot or bus lot. Please make sure you leave room beside the vendors for students to walk. It's going to be a fun HOT day!

Good afternoon! Tomorrow, May 1st, is an Early Release day. Please make sure you are in the car line and at the bus stop early. We will begin dismissing students at 1pm. Also, Field Day is Friday. Parents may start entering the field at 8:30. Here is a schedule for the day: Field Day activities: 9:00-11:30 Lunch: 11:30-12:30 Parents, you are welcome to stay and eat lunch with your child. If you decided to check your child out after lunch, you may do so from the teacher. Parents should plan on leaving at 12:30 or when lunch has ended. We will have Chic-fil-a, Howell's Ice Cream, and Pelican Snowballs for purchase. We will also have snacks and drinks for purchase. Please see the flyer for prices. Lastly, school aged students should not attend any events during the day at Middlesex Elementary. The expectation is that students attend the school where they are enrolled. Good afternoon Cougar families! We have a busy week ahead at MES. Tuesday, the 5th grade Science Benchmark begins. It's very important your child is at school on time for the benchmark. Our students worked so hard on the Reading and Math benchmarks and I know the 5th grade students will continue to do their best on the Science Benchmark. Wednesday, May 1st, is an Early Release day. We will begin dismissal at 1:00. Please make plans to be in the car line or at the bus stop early on Wednesday. Friday, May 3rd, is MES field day. Students will start arriving to the field around 8:30 and the events will begin at 9:00. We will have Pelican snowballs and other various items for sale during the field day. If you are wanting your child to be able to purchase any items, please make sure you send them with some extra money on Friday. The field day events will end around 11:30 on Friday. We hope to see you on the ball field at Middlesex Elementary School on Friday. I want to remind everyone, school age students should not be at any event at Middlesex Elementary that takes place during school hours. The expectation is those students should be at the school in which they attend. Also, if a Middlesex Elementary student is not in attendance on the day of the event, they should not attend the event. There was some confusion about this during the chorus concert. If you bring a school age child to the field day, they will not be allowed to attend. I look forward to seeing our parents on Friday!
