My name is Alex Chacón, I am from Honduras. This will be my 4th year at Middlesex Elementary as Spanish immersion teacher. This will be my Third year working with 4th grade as their Spanish, Math, Science and Social studies teacher. I really enjoy doing what I love and have fun with my students while we learn. Hey! My name is Mrs. Ashley Flythe and this is my 20th year in education! I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and now will be teaching 5th grade! I have my BS degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and 2 add on licenses, one in K-12 reading and the other in English to speakers of other languages. I have been married for 22 years and we have 2 great kids. Nathan is 18 and a super senior at Nash early college high school! Caroline is 13 and in 8th grade at Nash Central Middle School which is also where my husband works as the media coordinator.
Mr. Jasinski- 4th/5th grade Math/Sci
Hello, my name is Mr. Alex Jasinski-Suarez. I'm excited to be joining the 4th and 5th grade team! This school year will be my second year teaching and my 12th year as a bus driver. Previously I was a 1st grade teacher here at MES. Before joining Middlesex Elementary, I was part of the Central Office team working in the Transportation Department Office as an Operations Clerk. Before that, I was a school bus driver with NCPS. I have been with the district now for over 12 years and I enjoy being a part of the NCPS community. While working with NCPS, I earned two degrees which are in Business Administration and Accounting. During my time off, I enjoy going to the beach, road trips, watching the latest movies, going to theme parks and listening to music. I'm an animal lover, especially dogs.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Boykin. This is my 9th year in education and my 3rd year at Middlesex. I am a graduate of Western Governors University. I am married with 4 children and 3 grandchildren. My hobbies include boating, camping, painting and spending time with my family.
Ms. Filo- 5th grade DL
Hello! I am Ms. Filo, the 5th-grade DL teacher. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. I have been in education for 7 years and this is my fifth year as a Dual Language teacher. I enjoy traveling and going to the movies. I graduated from Universidad del Atlantico in Colombia where I learned English, French, and German.
