Our staff and students were recently recognized at the NCPS School Board Meeting! Congratulations to our students who were selected to attend NC Governor's School and our staff who were recognized for the hard work and dedication to our school!

Be Pro Be Proud, an initiative led by the N.C. Home Builders Educational and Charitable Foundation, allowed our students the opportunity for hands-on experience with trade jobs.

Our Winter Percussion Ensemble Competed in the Atlantic Indoor Association NC Circuit Championships yesterday and received 1st place in the Concert Scholastic A Division. The members received gold medals at the medaling ceremony for their 1st place finish. Congratulations to our Winter Percussion Ensemble on a great season!

Attention Parents: PBIS is hosting a fundraiser for our next event- Field Day! Classes will compete against each other so each class has a specific color shirt with their graduating year on them. Cost is $15 and proceeds go to support to PBIS student rewards. The event is May 2nd. Our band performed in the annual Music Performance Adjudication hosted by the NC Bandmasters Association at Martin County High School on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. They performed 3 concert selections on stage and participated in sight-reading where they performed a piece of music they had never seen before. The band received a Superior Rating (the highest rating possible) from all 4 judges. Congratulations!
